Any time two people love the same child, there is the potential for competition. And when we become parents, so much of our identities change. My help new parents and their parents to get on the same page about how to work together instead of competing. I help the entire family to get on the same page and to back each other up, so that the child knows that they can’t just go to the “softie” to get their way when someone else says “no.” When we work together, we can provide the consistency and the nurturing that kids need to grow to be safe, respectful, and friendly.
